IamLUG 2011 partners with Elguji for IdeaJam
We hare happy to announce that IamLUG 2011 attendees will enjoy the usage of IdeaJam, by Elguji, in advance planning of the Unconference slots at IamLUG 2011. The two fit together perfectly, and we were eager to open access to attendees to start their suggestions. The Unconference will be the chance for IamLUG attendees to suggest topics not presented at the event this year, but that they have questions on, desire more information or could be a subject matter expert themselves. Many are topics that would also not need a full hour presentation time, so we can fit numerous ideas into the Unconference slots.
For those not familiar with IdeaJam, here is the excerpt:
The concept is amazingly simple, yet extraordinarily powerful: with IdeaJam, people post their ideas on a topic, and others can vote on their agreement or disagreement with the idea by "promoting" or "demoting" it. Additionally, comments can be provided to elaborate ones thoughts on the matter at hand.
Good ideas rise to the top, bad ideas fall to the bottom. The comments will tell the story why an idea is good, bad or even ugly.
If you are a registered attendee, look for your email coming later today with more information on this exciting partnership and opportunity to help drive topics at IamLUG.
