Lotus on Linux Report - the session at IamLUG
William Malchisky, of Effective Software and a Redbook author, will be presenting the following session:Having written two versions of the Redbook entitled, "The Linux Handbook: A Guide to IBM Solutions and Resources", I would like to present an updated version of what Lotus is doing with Linux currently, all of their products, issues with running in production, and how business solutions using this NOS can create business saves. In this session we will discuss how Lotus is fully embracing Linux as a Domino and Notes platform. With all of the new and enhanced Notes-related products being offered, keeping track of what product is available and realistic to run in your firm, is challenging. If you are new to Linux knowing how to install each product can add additional complexity. This session will cover all of the products and provide some install and usage tips on each, to maximize your experience.
