The IamLUG 2011 Keynote speaker is....
IamLUG always looks for the most topical and relevant to the Lotus and IBM community. We were going round and round at the end of 2010 thinking ahead for this year. By the time Lotusphere came and went we knew we had a plan. To track down the incredible presenter and demo person from the Opening General Session. The energy, enthusiasm and technical knowledge is exactly what an event like IamLUG needs.IamLUG is please to present Brian Cheng as the 2011 keynote speaker. His opening paragraph from LinkedIn explains what we saw at Lotusphere:
Working through my years at IBM, I've always put myself in the position to define and drive the direction of the products I work with. Even in my first years in system test and development, I stepped outside of my role reaching out to customers to find the true picture of how the products are used and how the customers wanted to use the products. Sales and technical roles gave my the expertise to help customers and services personnel realize those technical goals
(and he thought we couldn't find a shot of him grinning)
Brian has a history as Technical Product Marketing Manager for Websphere Portal, Portal and Content Evangelist and even in Pan EMEA Software Services for Lotus as previous positions. Plus, he rocked the Opening General Session at Lotusphere.
Please welcome Brian and make sure you get signed up. Hotel rooms are filling for the guaranteed rates and we wouldn't want to have IamUG 2011 without you.
